Prayer Shawl Ministry
The purpose of the Women of Emmanuel is to unite the women of our church in a fellowship that helps each one to grow as an individual and in personal devotion to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
In addition to our regular meetings, the Women of Emmanuel sponsors many events during the year which raise funds, foster a sense of fellowship and provide outreach services to the community.
Each December, the Women of Emmanuel support a variety programs to celebrate the Christmas season including:
a Christmas Tea for the Women of Emmanuel and residents of SHARE, a senior residence in Ridgewood;
a Mitten Tree to provide an opportunity for donations of mittens, gloves, hats and scarves for the needy.
Our organization participates in all phases of church life and provides a social and devotional outlets for members and friends of Emmanuel. We also support mission work within and outside the United States.
