MEN’S FELLOWSHIP

The men of Emmanuel meet for breakfast at 9 AM on the third Saturday of most months. (Please check church calendar.) We use this time to build relationships among ourselves and with our church. Most of us are deeply involved in the life of the church, and we are always willing as individuals and as a group to assist in congregational projects. As a group we

help prepare a pancake supper on Shrove Tuesday;
prepare and serve suppers for Vacation Bible School,

prepare and serve meals with the help of families in the congregation at SHARE, a senior residence in Ridgewood,

conduct a drive for men’s clothing each September for the Good Shepherd Mission in Paterson,

make regular deliveries of needed groceries to the Good Shepherd Mission;

purchase and deliver men’s and women’s underwear and socks to the Bergen County Housing Center in Hackensack.

Each year the men host an Oktoberfest dinner and an Italian Festival to provide funds for our mission projects. All members and friends of Emmanuel are welcome to participate in our activities and our monthly gatherings. Please check calendar to confirm date.
